Resident Activity Center

The Resident Activity Center, a new addition to the Levine Jewish Residential and Family Service, is located within walking distance of the residents' apartments. The Activity Center is the hub for all group vocational, life skills and overall social interaction.

Fully equipped with piano, modern arts and craft supplies, a robust library inclusive of books, puzzles and games and high speed internet connection, the residents enjoy myriad benefits 7 days a week from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.

"We have scheduled programs throughout the day and our residents are also comfortable simply relaxing with their friends in the spacious "family room" area, complete with plush, large couches and a wide screen television," states LJRFS' Clinical Director, Dr. Elaine Rotenberg.

Whether it's a class about nutrition, a session about budget planning, doing price comparisons via the internet or a fun game of chess, the Activity Center is truly a place where skills are enriched and friendships are nurtured.
